TrailerCreator Privacy Policy
1. Overview
TrailerCreator helps you turn app screenshots and a short written brief into a promotional trailer. This policy explains what information is handled on your device, what may be sent over the network to provide the service, and the choices you have.
2. Camera and sensors
The app does not use the device camera, microphone, or location sensors.
3. Photos, videos, and sharing
You may choose photos or images from your device (for example screenshots or a logo) to include in a trailer. Those media files are processed on your device to create the video.
If you share or export a finished trailer, sharing uses the normal system share options on your device. We do not operate a public feed or social network inside the app.
4. What is stored on your device
Depending on how you use the app, the following may stay on-device:
- Images you select for a project
- Draft text you enter (such as an app name or brief)
- Preview and exported trailer files in app storage or cache
- Bundled music and sound effects shipped with the app
Clearing app storage or uninstalling the app removes local app data according to your device settings.
5. What is and is not collected off-device
To generate a trailer plan, the app sends a limited set of text you provide (such as a short brief, display name, and style preference) and basic project details (for example how many screenshots you selected) to our online planning service. Image and video files used to build the trailer are not uploaded for that planning step; encoding happens on your device.
We do not require an account to use the app. We do not show ads in the app, and we do not use an advertising identifier for advertising.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Third-party processing
The planning service runs on infrastructure operated by our hosting provider. Standard server logs (such as approximate request timing and technical connection data) may be created as part of operating that service. The operating system and your device may also process share, file, and network requests under their own policies.
We do not name every technical vendor in this policy; the purpose of any network use is to provide the trailer-planning feature you request.
7. Retention
Content kept on your device remains until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Text sent for planning is processed to fulfill your request. Hosting logs are retained only as long as needed for security, reliability, and abuse prevention, then discarded or aggregated according to our operational practices.
8. Children
The app is intended for users aged 13 and older. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
9. Rights and choices
You can:
- Choose which images to include or omit
- Avoid sending a planning request by not using the online planning feature
- Delete local projects and exports from your device
- Contact us to ask questions about this policy
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. Contact us to exercise applicable rights.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
